Background:
The Big Apple Circus is a one-ring, New York based circus that has been running since 1977. People travel all over the world to see the show

Task:
Create a campaign that promotes the 2016 run of The Big Apple Circus: The Grand Tour.

Insight:
The Big Apple Circus provides a chance to temporarily leave the current digital age and go back in time to feel the magic and wonder of the circus.

Approach:
We needed to create a look and feel that reminded you of the olden days where going to the circus was something you looked forward to and anticipated. We worked with illustrator, Mads Berg, to create a nostalgic looking show poster, hearkening back to the good ol' days when the circus was a main attraction. We also focused our social posts around the anticipation of the circus arriving in the city, as well as the thrill and awe of seeing the show live and in person.
